I've had a successful commercial career, performing lead roles for Zales, Spectrum, GoDaddy, Hamburger Helper, Optimum Mobile, Pepco, DELL, VividSeats, and more.
Advertising and branding courses were helpful, but my real education in branding, copy, and ads came from the countless self-tapes and on-set experience as a commercial actor.
When an ad concept works, it sings on every level. It's easy to memorize, it's easy to conceptualize, it's easy to iterate. The creative team and the clients get excited about it -- the ideas come quick, the inspiration flows.
